The Steady One
To attain spiritual peace and bliss,
They tell us to perform;not to miss
Some specifically designed actions
With due devotion and true affection
Some wear the special coloured robe
Or specially designed signs for this job.
And some recite the given mantras
Or perform various acts of Tantras.
Some sit in meditative poses
Or consume intoxicating doses.
Some go to the religious place
On pilgrimage for HIS holy grace.
Some study spiritual scriptures
Follow austerities more stricter.
People perform various such actions
To deceive themselves to distractions.
" I have attained bliss", they say
I'm at peace all the night and day.
But it's a trick and a self deceit
It's just a formality, a false conceit.
Such a bliss is an outward show
Such a bliss is a short lived glow.
It can be destroyed in a moment,
It is temporary, not permanent.
The steady one is not such a creature
With extraordinary trait or unique feature.
He is simply, an iota of the Divine Creator
Obeys HIS laws, in harmony with Nature.
