Christmas Lessons
Christmas has got all the cheers
Daring the chill December weather
Here hopes shine with the neon light
While the Yule Tree shines very bright
The hearths burn, and all warmth reach
To gather around, and for peace beseech
And sow the seeds of love in every heart
With humble gifts, let compassion impart
As bells jingle, and carols sung
Here faiths ensconce on top rung
So mankind remembers Jesus' words
And honours His sacrifice as true rewards
Let not anger and enmity cloud our minds
But let kindness & affection bind humankind.
